Lilypie First Birthday tickers

The Gerber Daisy challenge:

Sunday, January 25, 2009

This weekend Mom and I went to look at flowers at Edwards Florist in McKinney for the big day!
We took all of our great ideas and worked with the owner Stacy Edwards on how to make it beautiful with gerber daisies! Everything from the bouquet to the pew arrangements will have gerber daisies in it!! We went through the ladies flowers first and then began the mens flowers for who would wear one and so on...and that is were we had a stand still....Stacy said that gerber daisies for mens boutonnières would not hold up for the wedding and I began to panic having my heart set on gerber daisies for the guys to wear would match all the girls and look amazing on their black tuxes. So Stacy gave me a gerber daisy to wear for the day to test out the life of a gerber daisy to see how it would hold up for up to 6 hours!! I was really excited about wearing it and of course wore it until 7 that evening, we went to downtown McKinney, Stonebriar Mall, Hobby Lobby, Joann's Craft store, and dinner at Red Lobster and
it looked just gorgeous at the end of the day!!

Mom and Dad at Red Lobster!
He always has an animal on his shirts when we go out
it's kinda like his own little fashion statement!

Mom and I at Red Lobster!
The daisy in good condition!!
We put it on at 11:30 and took it off about 7!
While at Hobby Lobby we got Kinley's flower basket for her to toss petals out of! On the basket will be a small bouquet of gerber daisies similar to this look! We also got Chance's ring pillow...I am not sure where that picture is right now! Also, for the bridesmaids bouquet there will be pink and white polka dot ribbon around the stems .. I will take a picture of it soon it is really cute!
More pictures later! (p.s. the dress should be in at the beginning of February!!! YEA!!)
