My loves! We took Parker with us to Sonic on Sunday and he loved the sonic car hop guy coming right up to the car!! haha!! no not so much but we did enjoy sonic blasts on a hot day! yumm!

Ross and I had tuesday off the other week and so we went to see a movie! We saw the Switch with Jennifer Anniston and Jason Bateman! Super cute movie! I laughed and cried...the kid in the movie is adorable! A cute chick flick!

These are the fun things that I am doing these days to enjoy life and relax from a wild month at work!! I am thankful for a loving husband, family, and friends who care! :)

Fun in the sun!! well it is 100 degrees outside so we need to get a tan of course! ;) Friday I had off and it was wonderful!! I slept in and then went for a workout at the gym. After all of that I slept at the pool for a few hours until I went to Lorin's pool were we girl talked and enjoyed the sunshine and water! Lorin is working nights like Ross and so we don't see her as much so I was super excited when she had some free time on friday that we could
hang out and catch up on life!

it was our personal pool in the backyard!

Also, on Friday we had a family dinner for Tyler who is heading back to California to finish firefighter school for the fall. He will hopefully be back in December and be successful fireman in town!! He recently got a new truck that he is so proud of so I had to get a picture of him and his new pride and joy!! We are all so proud and excited for him in his adventures in life!

The rest of the weekend I worked hard at JCP and in my free time watched Dexter season 3! I first watched season 1 and then 4...Ross always starts random shows that I have no interest in then tells me all about them and then the next thing I know I am hooked! ;) I watched the 1st and 4th season while skipping the 2nd and 3rd so now I am catching up before season 5 comes back! I just finished season 2 and can't wait to get into season 3!!

Hey! So our weekend was not very eventful but we did enjoy being together!! Ross had the weekend off and so we got to hang out! Friday night we went out to On The Border and we got to sit outside! Ross hates sitting outside but I sweet talked him into it and we had a great time!
We talked for a while and enjoyed the sunshine!

Saturday night we hit the gym like a good married couple would! ;) I ran and Ross did the elliptical and weights! We compete for who burns the most calories in a workout! I know dorky but it pushes me to go further!! Ross is pretty intense with the weights once I got him into the gym! For the rest of our amazing sat night we watched Brooklyns Finest and relaxed.

We also hung some new art work in the living room area. I like the colors of the piece and the funkiness with the edgy circles! haha! Circles go with comic book heroes right?
