The happy couple! Logan and Lorin at Cyclone Anayas in Addison for a celebration lunch with the family! Lorin was smiling from ear to ear with excitement and happiness for this special engagement! We are so happy for them!! Logan asked Lorin early in the morning to spend the rest of his life with him and even though she may not be a cheerful morning person she said YES!

Congratulations guys!! We are so excited for you and happy we got to celebrate with you guys!

This weekend was my birthday weekend and Ross and I both had off so we celebrated all weekend long!! On Friday we went to the LaPrade house (aka Ron and Nora's) for dinner at Olive Garden with Logan and Lorin! We also celebrated Logan's birthday too!! Then we played a mean game of liver pool rummy the entire group! On Saturday Ross and I cleaned our lovely apt and made a trip to stonebriar mall to shop at pottery barn and see X:Men Wolverine! Then later that evening we met up with friends at Mi Cocina in Allen! We had a blast and enjoyed the good food! After dinner a few friends came over to play scene it and sequence....ross and I won sequence and it was our first time playing!! Sunday was gorgeous with sunshine!! We met my dad and brother at On the Border for lunch and had a wonderful time with them acting goofy!! It was a wonderful birthday weekend and I am so happy for the friends and family I got to share it with! (p.s. I love all the cards and phone calls from loved ones too!! )

Last Saturday Ross was being a good husband and taking out the trash and recycle before he headed off to work. Well we had a few large boxes to go to the recycle bin and Ross ended up falling down the first flight of stairs at our apartment. We live on the third floor! I had no clue what was going on until he came back from work around 10 that day and showed me the swollen ankle. It didn't look bad to me...no blood and no bones sticking out so I figured he would be fine....well little did I know he was in pain and hobbled around the apartment the rest of the day. I did suggest though that he call Lorin since she is a nurse..I am working on being sympathetic but if there is no blood and bones are still in tact I think he will be just fine in a few days! He did end up going to the doctor for an x-ray and medical advice. It's Tuesday and the swelling has gone down...he still hobbles around and wears the wrap but he will be fine soon enough!
